I made my daughter a really fun mermaid cake with this pan, but I sort of wish I hadn't bought the pan and here's why:
It is not tall enough to fit a standard-sized barbie doll, I had to break the back of the cake a little to get my little mermaid to fit (she had to kneel in it). SO unless you are planning on just using the pick doll it comes with, it is really useless for real dolls.
THere is a heating rod in the middle to help it cook evenly, but it was still pretty much raw in the middle but kind of burnt on the outside.

I am a professional, its my job and when I get a cake mold kit I expect all the pieces there. For one they said it would arrive on Monday its Tuesday. I have to have this cake ready by Saturday and half the pieces are missing!!
